A collection of works by French artist Alexandra Duprez
Created in conjunction with the solo exhibition of the same name, “Ce que les yeux dispersent” (curated by The Curators), held from April 17 to May 16, 2026, at 20 rue Meslay in Paris’s 3rd arrondissement
Based on a series of lithographic ink drawings created in 2025 during an artist residency at Dou Print Studio, an independent lithography studio in Ankara, Turkey
Ce que les yeux dispersent is a sensitive and immersive book by Alexandra Duprez, born from an artist residency in Ankara. Amidst the warmth of the studio, the smell of turpentine, and quiet exchanges, the artist explores the notions of repetition, trace, and perception.
As the days pass, a series of spontaneous and expressive lithographic ink drawings emerges, shaped by the gestures of working and the pauses imposed by the printing process. Each image becomes a reflection of a shared moment, of a gaze in motion.
This book is an invitation to enter the intimacy of creation, where the gaze captures, disperses, and transforms reality.
