A collection of poetry by American-Belgian poet, writer, and visual artist Alain Arias-Misson, compiled from his 2023 publication, The poem Concretism. The book contains Arias-Misson’s poetry across seven chapters of six pages each, with each work interspersed with cutouts of self-portraits he created in the 1970s for his photo-poem series. It is a volume that allows readers to enjoy the refined compositional beauty unique to Arias-Misson, who has been devoted since the 1960s to concrete poetry—poetry that emphasizes the form and structure of words rather than their meaning.
